March 12 - Sunrise

Last Saturday, I headed up to my favorite spot to watch the sunrise. The mist that morning made for pretty poor pictures of the actual sunrise but when I turned around, this image presented itself. The weather has turned back to normal and the grasses and weeds that have grown so well after the rains are starting to die. Wildfires should be a real threat this summer.

Beautiful pic... really. Mother nature can be so cruel sometimes ... but let's hope she'll be gentle this summer.

I hope that there won't be any wildfires. Interesting though that a few hundred miles south, the months from May to October are said to be rainy.
Here we expect some floodings after the loads of snow still up in the mountains.

that photo kind of reminds me of the way the sunset was hitting the bricks on my godforsaken apartment building the other night and...wait, no, it's way better than that. nevermind.
