It's That Time Again
Summer’s almost over. The kids returned to school on Monday and the monsoon season has taken hold. The weather forecast calls for rain all week. Monday I took my lunch outside during a mild shower. I just stood under the covered parking area, listening to the unpredictable pattern of falling rain on the tin roof overhead. We had another fast moving thunderstorm again today. Seeing so little rain makes you truly appreciate a good storm.

i've been checking on your weather via www.wunderground.com and www.weather.com - i also see that a flash flood claimed the life of a little girl. very powerful storms you have out there.
The kids returned to school...wow!! That's early! When do they end? I don't start for nearly a month after they do...
They're only out for June and July. Those are the hottest months. Seems too short from a kids point of view.
Yep, summer is fading fast but unfortunately, not the heat..at least here in Houston. :-(
