New Podcast From Ottmar Liebert

The first SSRI podcast for 2006 went live a few minutes ago.
The URL for the podcast feed is: http://www.ssri.biz/music/subscription.php
If you don't have podcast receiving software - please consult Google to find suitable software for your computer platform.

Morning Arrival in Goa live from the 2005 holiday tour. Gorgeous.

As if anyone would be checking my blog before Ottmar's.

Matt, I need to get the software. Any recommendations from google as several possibilities came up.

Luz, I just downloaded iTunes (even though I don't have an Apple). However I must say one thing has me befuddled: I can't seem to have the program play through all the songs automatically. Once one song ends I have to select the next...what a pain. I must be missing some detail.

iTunes isn't even necessary. It's not as clean-cut, but at least you can download the songs much easier this way: Go to the link that Ottmar always gives for the podcast, http://www.ssri.biz/music/subscription.php. You'll notice a series of tracklistings throughout the page in which you'll see "description = ..." and then a couple of lines down "enclosure url = ...". And that's the link you want. So you'll have to scroll down a bit but in the middle of everything is "SRI Radio presents: "Morning Arrival in Goa" by Ottmar Liebert. Recorded live-to-2-track by Alan Behr at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida, in December of 2005. Other recorded versions of this song can be found on the albums "The Hours between Night + Day", "Viva!" and "Leaning into the Night" - all released by Epic Records." :) The link it gives just afterwards is http://www.ssri.biz/music/mp3/Goa-Live05.mp3. What you do is copy and paste that into your address bar and it should let you download the file. Enjoy ;)

Man, Adam, you are giving away all the secrets! :)

Matt - you were the first to tell that it's Goa and that's not bad. And who knows who stumbles upon your blog one day and doesn't know Ottmar.
